Video: What Is Was

VIDEO EXPLANATION BELOW

This is a very brief video I shot for a media class. I had to depict some sort of “a process.”

My wife Elena used to faithfully work on photo albums that documented Roxie’s life. She also crafted brief passages about the moments certain photos were taken. These books were meant to remind Roxie of our infinite love for her. Roxie could open them at any age and remember what she meant to us and to the world about her.

Then came Elena’s cancer. Then came Roxie’s death. Needless to say, this process came to a screeching halt. And though I could pick up where she left off, this was Elena’s baby.

I wanted to see if I could somehow help her finish what she started. I also wanted her to see what I see, what I feel about what she had done and how it moved me.
